Shobukan Judo Club relies on your support to continue our programs that advance judo education. We are a qualified IRS non-profit organization.
- We accept cash, checks and money orders.
- If your gift is mailed to us prior to the end of the calendar year and you itemize your tax returns, you’re eligible for a tax deduction for that year.
- You may deduct up to 50% of your adjusted gross income for charitable gifts of cash.
- Gifts that exceed the 50% AGI limit may be carried over and deducted in the following five tax years.

We will provide you a written statement of acknowledgment for your charitable contributions of $75 or more for your tax records.
Note if you received a benefit from the cash contribution, you may deduct the value more than the benefit received. That means regular membership dues do not qualify for a charitable contribution. Please consult your tax adviser if you have any questions.
